Crate 61: a super cool organic brand that started in small batches from the founder’s kitchen right here in Toronto and now ships world wide. All natural and everything smells so yummy!
If you love gourmand scents then check out the lip balms because they are so true to the described smell, you’ll want to eat them….they are that good! The Almond scent smells exactly like an almond croissant while the Vanilla Bean scent smells like a warm and creamy creme brulee dessert. Continue reading “Crate 61”
Sometime last year, I was in The Body Shop having a peruse around and I saw the Honey Bronze bronzer on sale so decided to pick it up and save it for when I’d finished my current bronzer at that time. Well you know what happened next…..I came home, threw it in the drawer and completely forgot about it until last week when I was rummaging through said drawer and spotted it. I always love when that happens, it’s like buying something new again without spending the money! Continue reading “Honey Bronze: A Great Affordable Find”
First Aid Beauty have recently launched a new product – the Resurfacing Liquid 10% AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), which I have been testing out for the last month. It’s my first venture into the world of AHAs as I don’t think I’ve really needed them before so I was very interested in seeing how they work. Continue reading “First Aid Beauty Resurfacing Liquid”

With beauty trending towards less toxic ingredients and cleaner/greener brands gaining more popularity, there are so many more choices vs. even five years ago.
Here are a few of my favourite staple brands: Continue reading “The Detox Market”
